The next version of Firefox will come out of the
virtual box with Google's anti-phishing tools built in.
While the Googlified security services have been
available through use of the Google Toolbar for either
Firefox or IE6 for quite some time already, this marks
the first default installation. And we all know how much
Google values the defaults.

A woman in Manchester has become the victim of
computer hi-jacking where all of a users files are
locked and a ransom note left on the computer with
instructions on how to unlock files... It's being called
'Ransomware'. Uncannilly microsoft today released their
own security software for windows. I'm struggling to see
the difference... (meh!)

cleaner, he strolled around the deck of the giant vessel
— even pausing to flick through its log books and sip
tea in the galley!

Slightly ahead of schedule, Microsoft today released
the final version of its first contender in the
commercial security software segment: Windows Live
OneCare includes a software bundle that promises to
defend computers against common malware threats as well
as free support for users that need advice in protecting
their system or removing a virus.
